 The customers in Eventbrite are basically the event organizers that is planning or hosting an event. Whether it’s for a concert or a fundraiser, Eventbrite helps them out when the tickets sales and promoting the event so that it can get spread around and more people can find out about it.  Eventbrite developed two applications targeted towards event organizers. There is “Easy Entry” which allows organizers of live events to see the number of tickets sold to a particular event and the number in attendance. It offers several ways to check in attendees: scrolling through a list of registered attendees, searching by name and by scanning the barcode of the attendee’s ticket. The mobile app also links back to the user’s page on Eventbrite providing post-event details and an attendee summary report for the organizers. “At the Door” allows the user to check-in attendees, as well as purchase tickets and process credit cards on-site.

But now, this is the era where computer-based is used almost all the time for many different type of things like getting news and information on different types of topics. It has become something that we feel that we really need because we’ve relied on it so much that we find it difficult to communicate without it. It’s easier to use and more efficient with technology for communicating with other people.

These days, many people, both young and old, uses internet-based communication for ways to communicate quickly. There are so many different ways that you can communicate through the internet for example email. Email has been here for a while now and this is one of the ways people use to communicate with each other. There is also the social media networks that have become so popular with everyone, that it could have a big impact on a situation. There are things like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Myspace that many people use to talk to other people faster and to post about things they like or just their daily life.

Though internet-based communication is used often, there is also telephone-based communication which is basically a different type of computer that people use. Cell phones have become something that people are so dependent on because we have just gotten so use to using it. With the cell phone, you are allowed to call people or text them as a way to communicate with others faster as long as you have signal. Having landlines are just as important, because even though cell phones are wireless and easier to use, having a home phone, you will always have good clear signal to talk with others. So even talking in rural areas would be easier for the landlines to call then cellphones that is dependent on the signal they have.

With computer-based communications you are able to access the news much faster than before if you are waiting for the newspapers. Having computers and TVs, you can access your news much faster. With the TV there are news that broadcast live or even when there is breaking news you are able to know the news and other information quicker. On the computer, you are able to go to different news websites to keep up with the latest news that you want to know about. And you can know about different types of news from all around the world a lot faster as well. Sometimes needing to know the news faster is important for many people so using the computer-based communication has become a need for people that want faster news and information.

This website also helps make it easier for people to find and buy tickets for a certain event. This also makes it easier for you to keep track of who is going and who isn't because Eventbrite lists all of the attendees that are going to go to the event.

3. Eventbrite was founded in 2006 by Kevin Hartz, Julia Hartz and Renaud Visage.CEO Kevin Hartz was involved with Paypal and was the CEO and co-founder of Xoom Corporation. Julia Hartz, wife of Kevin, decided that after studying broadcasting at Pepperdine University, she became a creative executive at FX Network in Los Angeles. After the two became engaged, she moved to the Bay Area and helped co-found Eventbrite. Renaud Visage was the one that built the Eventbrite site platform. They have reached a new height of 400 million tickets sold during 2011, which was double the amount of the number of tickets sold in 2010. Currently, the company has partnerships with Saleforces, MailChimps, Wordpress, and others.

 Googlemaps is a free online site that allows the user to look from a satellite owned by Google at the Earth. This is helpful especially for finding directions which is one of the main uses of Streetview. To use Google Maps, your location and the destination of the user's choosing has to be typed in for the directions to be found. A list of directions will appear which can easily be printed. The directions often include multiple routes, means of arriving at the destination, and time it takes to get there. It's easy software that can be used by anyone looking for a way to get anywhere.

With Wikipedia and Enclopedia Britannica you are able to search and view information that you need or want to find out. You just have to search for what you want to find more information about the topic and you would be able to view the information there. Wikipedia is more open with many different and more variety of topics you can search up since it is a website where anyone can edit and it’s a broader website to find information. Enclopedia Britannica is used more for educational practical information since it has been here for a long time and its an enclopedia being continuously updated by editors. Both of the websites have different languages that you can view if you don’t understand English, giving more people chances of using the website.

The Wayback Machine is a website designed to enable you to view older archived versions of websites across time. The way you use it is by typing in the website you want to see an older version of and selecting the year you want to view. You can then choose which month you want to view and there will be snapshots of the website at the time. There you will be able to see what the website looked like before and how it is different from the current website. With this website you can go back in time and see the history of a certain website and see the changes in it throughout the year.
